Many waters

Anniversary present

This is a small-scale work presented to my dear wife, Sara, as a thirtieth anniversary present in 2014. We had been through some mighty floods in recent years together, and this passage from the Song of Songs (8:7) meant a lot to us.

Thanks to Debi Sementelli, Xandra Zamora, and Stephen Rapp for helping me tame the brush as a calligraphy tool, and for their ongoing friendship and inspiration.
